It carves, it floats, it powers, it's a semi-twin and a mighty fine one at that. The tech spec is interesting but the real issue is how does all that make it ski tale it from us it makes it ski superbly. Best results you'll find from skiing it positively rather than coasting and the harder you ski it the more fun it is.
Nice feel for a mid fat, great edge control so as a piste ski it's up there with the best. The Venturi tip gives it more lift than the width of the waist would suggest and as a result the off piste performance is superb.
Not unduly heavy for a powerful ski, it could be used for touring but there are more appropriate skis in the Scott range, not least the new Reverse a slightly smaller, lighter version of the Crusade, also with Venturi tip and tail, just a shame about the name, the Neo, the Mission and the old stalwart the Aztec, still a great ski even after all these years.
