HEAD JOHN 94 + MOJO 15 BINDINGS 09/10
Head’s marketing men have renamed the Mojo 94 and given it a slightly understated psychedelic graphics job; can’t detract from the fact that whatever it’s called or whatever it looks like it’s a pretty mean ski.
In any case. the graphic on the John is probably the most universally likeable of the whole range. Still, about the skis; well they are a broad waisted Freeride ski with a big enough footprint to give serious float, even for the bigger rider, enough sidecut to perform well on piste and enough torsional stiffness to give an assured carve when required.
All in all a nicely balanced bigger ski without any real hang ups and forgiving enough for it not to be intimidating if this is your first “fat” ski. We liked them, finding the transition from in to off-piste seamless and with enough pop to make them fun off kickers and in the Park.
